So complicated, and not always totally likable, but I always (so far at least) come around to being on her side by the end of the story.Mary R.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12468537883595941188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7120112249574123729.post-7004722111489263162012-10-26T18:23:26.531-04:002012-10-26T18:23:26.531-04:00Mary - Oh, this is a great choice! Thanks for reminding me of her :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7120112249574123729.post-10296046372984321052012-10-26T13:18:42.048-04:002012-10-26T13:18:42.048-04:00I find that if I come to a book after I have seen ...I find that if I come to a book after I have seen a character on screen I just picture them as they were on screen and all is well. For example, I totally see Hercule Poirot as he is on Mystery! when I read those books because that is how I knew him first. I hope you enjoy the Lynley books! Have watched many episodes of the show though so I am the reverse, Parker is the Lynley I know. Will be interesting to see how he comes across in my minds eye when I read the books!Peggy Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00426356514707257708noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7120112249574123729.post-11383572486299390492012-10-24T20:10:11.899-04:002012-10-24T20:10:11.899-04:00This is a favorite series of mine, one I actually ...This is a favorite series of mine, one I actually keep up with as each book comes out. I have reread some of the earlier ones and enjoyed them the 2nd time around. I just like the way she writes.

You have written a nice overview. I think I would have problems with Nathaniel Parker as Lynley for the same reasons.TracyKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08303342674824383688noreply@blogger.com
