I like the Chiaverini books partly because they actually get into the nitty-gritty of quilt making.Mary R.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12468537883595941188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7120112249574123729.post-6294284532007006662022-05-08T06:33:08.167-04:002022-05-08T06:33:08.167-04:00I read a lot of the quilt books by Jennifer Chiave...I read a lot of the quilt books by Jennifer Chiaverini back in the day but it has been a long time since I read one.
Enjoyed your chain.Marghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13508430635744720721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7120112249574123729.post-85330931988634167432022-05-08T05:58:26.147-04:002022-05-08T05:58:26.147-04:00I like your chain, especially all the references t...I like your chain, especially all the references to quilts and quilters. I don't sew or quilt but my mother was really into it - in fact she gave me some quilting books in the (vain) hope that I'd take it up, but I just don't think I have the patience.

Having said that, I too have read some of the Jennifer Chiaverini books and I enjoyed them very much - thanks for reminding me about them. And I am going to add the other quilting-related books you mention to my TBR - I'd not heard of any of them.

I do recall, as a teenager, visiting family friends near Bath in Somerset and going to the American Museum there. They had a fabulous collectionof quilts, I still remember admiring them. It's a fascinating subject.

Thanks for all the ideas!Rosemary Kayehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17284340669326721343noreply@blogger.com
