Saturday Snapshot Meme
This was the view as I pulled into my driveway one day this week, a single daffodil on a mostly brown winter background. We are having a crazy-warm March here in New Hampshire.
I will never forget the first time I saw a flower peeking up through the snow. It was when I was a small girl in Niagara Falls, Canada - cold winters like yours I'm sure. This reminds me of A Tree Grows in Brooklyn! Thanks for following me. Sim@Chapter1-Take1
I know, it's been crazy warm here in this part of Ontario too... and we have scads of daffodils now in bloom. But it is supposed to get cold again, and I hope they don't all freeze up :(
Yup, us here in Ontario too. No daffodils yet, though. But crocuses! We have crocuses galore.
ReplyDeleteOur crocus have been and gone already.

ReplyDeleteSweet-sweet picture. There is hope for spring!
ReplyDelete:)
It looks so vibrant against the brown!
ReplyDeleteThat one lone daffodil is so full of hope, isn't it?
