The Elephant Keepers' Children
by Peter Høeg
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
This book started out alright, the premise seemed interesting and some of the philosophical observations were spot-on. It proceeded to wander around a very slim plot for hundreds of pages filled with "how the world is just like football" and "aren't we superior to our crazy parents" both of which got old fast. I read the whole thing hoping it would come to a conclusion that matched the strong start. It didn't.
