- How to Brew: Everything You Need to Know to Brew Beer Right the First Time by John Palmer
I read the beginning of this and have made the Queen City Pale Ale several times (it is a great fruit beer base); I need to read the rest.
- Designing Great Beers: The Ultimate Guide to Brewing Classic Beer Styles by Ray Daniels
Great homebrewers I know recommend this.
- Radical Brewing: Recipes, Tales and World-Altering Meditations in a Glass by Randy Mosher
This is a book to bring a brewer to a whole different level.
- IPA: Brewing Techniques, Recipes and the Evolution of India Pale Ale by Mitch Steele
Lots of great info about beer history and the evolution of the style, written by a great homebrewer (he makes pretty good beer at his day job too).

A Brewers Book List
This week I have been at the American Homebrewers Association annual conference and have put together a reading list based on the programs I attended. Some of these I have read parts of, but I'm inspired by all the great speakers to learn more about the craft.
