Create a Story Challenge

Never too Fond of Books is hosting the Create a Story Challenge today for Bout of Books.  Here's what you do:

  1. Open your current book to the last page you read.
  2. Using the last word of every line, create a poem or story. You must use every word (but they do not have to be in order), and you may add punctuation as necessary. If a word is split between the end of the line and the beginning of the next one, you may choose whether or not to use it.
I chose The Once and Future King for my book and used the words from page 295. Here is my story.

The hundredth Iroquois saint was to come. Holiness walks to north, him married and all. The excited ribels irrespective, its day began in a shebeen. The shellailigh I found after.

  1. :D I especially like the second sentence. Those creative challenges are so much fun, and with this one I found it more difficult to actually make a story that grammatically makes sense - in the end I was left with a bunch of a's an the's, which I had to try to fit in somewhere :))

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
