Here are some of the titles already on my shelves that I might consider for this challenge:
- Charlotte Grey by Sebastian Faulks
- On Green Dolphin Street by Sebastian Faulks
- Split Thirty by Michael Davidow
- New York by Edward Rutherford
- A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens
- The Colony of Unrequited Dreams by Wayne Johnston
- Madame Picasso by Anne Girard
- And Ladies of the Club by Helen Hooven Santmyer
- Texas by James A. Michener
I am going to try to complete this challenge at the Victorian level (5 books). Most of these books are really long so I don't want to be too ambitious.
Thanks for participating in the challenge this year!
ReplyDeleteYou have some interesting titles on your list already!
Good list! I like Edward Rutherford, but haven't read New York, yet. A Tale of Two Cities was one of my favorite books in high school, but that was a long time ago! I remember And Ladies of the Club fondly -- I think it was one of the first books I read after college. I stopped reading for pleasure, entirely, in college and that book reminded me that I loved reading and needed to make time for it in my life.
