"In short, Bloggiesta is a blogging marathon revolving around ticking off those items on your to-do list and improving your blog while in the good company of other awesome bloggers doing the same thing. Our awesome mascot Pedro (Plan. Edit. Develop. Review. Organize) is ready to break out the nachos, enchiladas, drinks, mariachi music and whack a pinata or two! It’s nothing short of an awesome fiesta!"
Here is my bloggiesta to-do list:
- Participate in at least one of the Twitter chats (probably Friday, 9/20 at 9pm Eastern)
- Finish the Queens of Crime page I started ages ago
- Check out the mini-challenges and complete at least one
- Visit other bloggiesta participants and see what cool things I can learn that will improve my blogs
- Make enchiladas for dinner one night (not really on task, but I was inspired)
- Compile a list of blogging stuff I want to do/learn more about in the near future
OH! I love the enchiladas on the to-do list! LOL! I am so jealous your list is so short. Mine looks like a novella. LOL!! Good luck and have a great time.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! I loved the post brainstorming mini-challenge you did (at http://littlepocketbooks.blogspot.com/2013/09/bloggiesta-mini-challenge-post.html for those that didn't see it)
DeleteGood luck Mary, I've never taken part in Bloggiesta but it does seem like a fun event. Plus usually people get a lot done :)
ReplyDeleteIt is fun, and I am learning a ton of stuff. It happens several times a year (mini ones and regular ones) and is worth checking out.
DeleteI would love to participate in a Twitter chat too, so hope everything aligns that way. And the mini- challenges are all really informative!

Thanks for stopping by! I love the master list of memes on your blog--so helpful.
DeleteUmm...enchiladas sounds good!!! Might have to convince hubby to make them this weekend!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your goals! I keep adding to mine as I visit everyone :-)

YUM! I want some enchiladas.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your goals!
Very awesome goals! And do-able! I'm just determined to stick with it the whole weekend- I normally fade after day one, but not this time!
ReplyDeleteHope to see you on Twitter chat!

I love your last item. That is what I absolutely love about Bloggiesta. Good luck and enjoy your enchiladas!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I love the enchiladas for dinner idea! YUM!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my list and good luck on completing yours!!
Good luck with your list.... you will have to share your enchiladas recipe with us and a pic on your finish line post.
ReplyDeleteAngie
Thanks! I will share, but it is one of those terrible recipes that depends on having things in the freezer that almost no one has (smoked pork from a pig roast earlier this summer).
DeleteSo glad to have you joining us! Hopefully you'll find it useful and worthwhile in the end. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteBloggiesta is really cool. I was able to join both twitter chats and I have learned a lot!
DeleteWhat a great and fun list. I like that you added that you are making a list for things to do/learn about in the future, too. Great idea.
ReplyDeleteHave to admit I got distracted by the enchilada idea. Yum!
I love that you put making a list on your list, too! And the enchiladas. Hubby on low carb diet here and doing so well, so no enchiladas for us. Maybe by the Spring 2014 Bloggiesta!
ReplyDeleteGood luck!!
Wish I had time to join in as it does sound like fun. Throughout the year, I do tweak my blog and pages, and change templates every so often for variety. I'll read some Bloggiesta participants though to see what new things they do.
ReplyDeleteThat's an awesome list for your first Bloggiesta Mary! And I especially love the enchiladas on the list, YUM! The mini challeges are my favorite part, I love reading how to guides and the ones for Bloggiesta are always a ton of fun! I hope you get everything accomplished !!!!
ReplyDeleteHAHA I love the enchiladas! I'm doing that next year :) Hope you get lots of ideas of stuff to do from this bloggiesta. You list will be a mile long before you know it ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the enchiladas! Did you end up making them? Enjoy Bloggiesta, and good luck :)
ReplyDeleteDid you make your enchiladas? You're making me hungry!!!!
ReplyDeleteIf you haven't already, stop by and enter my Bloggiesta Challenge Giveaway, which you can totally enter even if you don't complete the challenge!
