Books with an Adjective in the Title

The topic for today's Top Ten Tuesday is "Books with an adjective in the title."  I added the conditions that they needed to be books I have actually read and the adjective needs to be in the title, not the subtitle.

  1. Epitaph of a Small Winner by Machado de Assis
  2. A Curable Romantic by Joseph Skibell
  3. The Odd Women by George Gissing
  4. The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne
  5. The Rebel Angels by Robertson Davies

  6. The Ghostly Carousel by Caleb Brown
  7. The White Mountain by Dan Szczesny
  8. The Enormous Egg by Oliver Butterworth
  9. The Beautiful Things that Heaven Bears by Dinaw Mengestu
  10. The Secret Life of the Savoy by Olivia Williams
