The beginning was very interesting--it focused on the idea of not-reading as being more common (even among readers) than reading is because of the volume of books that exist. Later the book started to wander somewhat aimlessly around the concepts of not reading and the author started making stuff up (about books he was talking about) which I thought was uncalled for.

This was a love story as much as it was a mystery (perhaps more so). It was well done and full of nice book-ish touches. The next book in the series is due out in 2013 and I will keep an eye out for it.

Some of this book was entertaining, some of it was not that interesting and some seemed like filler. Overall I liked it, but I would have liked it more if the chapters at the beginning had been more representative.
All three of these books count toward the Books About Books 2013 Challenge.
