I went to the opening home game of our local team this week (The NH Fishercats), so in honor of opening day I thought I would share a baseball-related picture. This is the birthday cake my sister and I made for my nephew's fifth birthday.

The Amoskeag Quilter's Guild, of which I am a member, had its quilt show last weekend. This is one of my quilts, "There's a Lot of Fish in the Sea" on display at the show.

This was the view as I pulled into my driveway one day this week, a single daffodil on a mostly brown winter background. We are having a crazy-warm March here in New Hampshire.

This photo was taken by my mother-in-law of the flowers she got for her birthday. They remind me of the orchids that my husband and I had at our wedding reception more than a decade ago. I thought the picture was beautiful. I love pictures that are a close-up detail of something.
